Professional Midwifery Program
The Professional Midwifery Program covers all topics in the MANA Core Competencies and NARM Test Specifications through a combination of self-study, group discussion, hands-on skills training, and learning assessment designed to prepare students for work in out of hospital birth settings.

Group discussions will be facilitated by Peggy Franklin, CPM and Kim Pekin, CPM.  Additional help will be made available online as well.  As skills are mastered, instructors will sign off on the NARM Form 201 as appropriate.  Some students showing exceptional promise may be offered clinical experience opportunities with Birth by Design, LLC.

Sessions will meet from 9am until 5pm.  The complete curriculum may be seen on our Curriculum page.  There will be a 30 minute lunch break, and participants will be invited to bring food to share with the group.  Water, tea, coffee, and light snacks will be provided.  Click the link below to be notified when registration is available:
