Professional Midwifery Program
The Professional Midwifery Program covers all topics in the MANA Core Competencies and NARM Test Specifications through a combination of self-study, group discussion, hands-on skills training, and learning assessment designed to prepare students for work in out of hospital birth settings.

Group discussions will be facilitated by Peggy Franklin, CPM and Kim Pekin, CPM.  Additional help will be made available online as well.  As skills are mastered, instructors will sign off on the NARM Form 201 as appropriate.  Some students showing exceptional promise may be offered clinical experience opportunities with NOVA Natural Birth Center.
